My daughter has been doing swim lessons with Barabra York for awhile. In that time she has gained her confidence and has been learning her backstroke, free style, breaststroke and butterfly. Barbara is a wonderful instructor.

I had a swimming lesson accident when I was about 6 that keep me out of the water a long time, I got over my fear of being in the water bit never learned to swim. With Barbara I have started to get confidence in my self and working on freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke. I can now feel comfortable going to the pool myself and practicing thanks to Barbara.

Barbara taught my older daughter the butterfly stroke and helped her have to have more confidence. She has been like a family member very caring and an excellent teacher. She instills confidence and joy in my daughter she gets so excited every time it's swim day!

Before lessons, my children were afraid to let go of the pool sides and afraid to stick their heads underwater. With Barbara's help, my kids are no longer scared of the water and are gaining more confidence with each lesson.

Barbara, or as we call her, Miss Barbara, is the best! She taught our first daughter for two years and now our girl can do every stroke beautifully and swims on the swim team back and forth across the deep end of the pool at just six years old. Our three-year-old is currently taking weekly lessons with Miss Barbara and making exponential progress each time. Miss Barbara is an expert in all things Swim and wonderful at engaging the children to learn. Miss Barbara is accommodating with schedule, her prices are fair, and she is reliable. For us, it’s money well spent to teach our children the value of swimming and water safety. Highly recommend Miss Barbara!
